Achievements & Milestones

Achievements span the full arc of a semester, grouped so the grid reads as a progression:

• Getting started — build your first flashcard deck, write your first case brief
• Streaks — reach a 7-day, 30-day, or 100-day study streak
• Mastery — review 100 and then 1,000 flashcards, and master 10 and then 100 cards
• Practice — complete your first practice exam
• Games — play your first study game

Each badge has a clear, concrete requirement — nothing vague, nothing you can't see how to earn.

The Achievements page splits your badges into two grids: the ones you've earned (most recent first) and the ones still in progress. Every badge shows how far along you are toward unlocking it, so you always know what's within reach.

A counter at the top shows how many of the total achievements you've earned so far.

You never have to claim an achievement. Badges are evaluated in the background at the moments that matter — when you create a deck, finish a brief, extend your streak, review or master cards, complete an exam, or play a game.

Award timestamps are permanent: once a badge is earned it stays earned, and progress is only ever counted once. Your achievements are private to your account.

Every badge is worth experience points scaled to how hard it is to earn — a 100-day streak or a thousand-card review counts for far more than your first deck. Your total XP rolls up into a level, shown at the top of the page with a progress bar toward the next one, so where you stand reflects the difficulty of what you've unlocked, not just the raw count of badges.

When a new badge lands, JurisNote plays a brief celebration the first time you see it, then the card settles into your earned grid. It's a small, private moment of recognition for work you actually did — no leaderboards, no ranking you against classmates, just your own progress.
