This Acceptable Use Policy governs your access to and use of the JurisNote platform, including all websites, applications, and services provided by JurisNote LLC. This Policy is incorporated by reference into the JurisNote Terms of Service and applies to all users of the Service.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, educational, and authorized purposes. You may not use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law, regulation, court order, or the rights of any third party.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with your school’s academic integrity rules, honor codes, and examination policies. JurisNote does not monitor or guarantee compliance with institutional requirements.

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• uploading, posting, transmitting, or storing content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
• infringing or misappropriating the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or entity;
• impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or organization;
• engaging in academic dishonesty, including cheating, plagiarism, or misuse of the Service during examinations or graded assessments where prohibited by an institution;
• using the Service to generate or submit work represented as your own in violation of academic or professional standards;
• attempting to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features, access controls, rate limits, or technical safeguards of the Service;
• reverse engineering, decompiling, scraping, or extracting source code, models, data, or system outputs except as expressly permitted by law;
• uploading malware, viruses, worms, trojans, or any code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
• using the Service to spam, phish, harvest personal data, or conduct unsolicited advertising or marketing;
• accessing or attempting to access another user’s account, data, or private content without authorization;
• using the Service to provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal services to third parties;
• using the Service in a manner that could reasonably expose JurisNote to legal liability, regulatory action, or reputational harm.

JurisNote reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to monitor use of the Service to enforce this Policy. JurisNote may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including content removal, account suspension, or termination, without prior notice. Enforcement actions may be taken in JurisNote’s sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law.

Violations of this Policy may also result in civil or criminal liability. JurisNote’s failure to enforce any provision of this Policy does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce such provision in the future.

This Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
